Empowering together — District Commissioner participates in our school uniform donation program
We believe that every child should have access to proper school uniforms. Our program sources and distributes high-quality uniforms to children from low-income families, ensuring they are well-equipped for their educational journey. These uniforms not only promote a sense of belonging but also help boost confidence in their academic environment.
Youth Fashion Design Training at EFAD
At Elisha Fashion and Design Youth Support Foundation (EFAD), young people are gaining practical skills in fashion design, garment construction, and entrepreneurship through hands-on vocational training.
During this session, students received guidance on fashion sketching, pattern development, fabric selection, and sewing techniques under the supervision of experienced instructors. Despite operating in a modest training environment with limited resources, the program continues to equip both young women and men with valuable skills that can help them create employment opportunities and improve their livelihoods.
The growing interest among youth demonstrates the urgent need for expanded training space, additional sewing machines, learning materials, and technical support. With increased investment, EFAD can reach more vulnerable young people and provide them with pathways to self-reliance through creative and marketable skills.
Together, we can transform talent into opportunity and build a brighter future for the next generation.
